Great Work Montessori's Summer Program will offer an active and educational learning environment during the summer of 2024. Five one-week sessions will begin on July 8th and end on August 9th.

The Summer Program at Great Work Montessori features:

  • Hands-on, experiential learning for children ages 5-11 years old.

  • Thematic exploration of our local environment and resources.

  • Weekly trips to local parks and museums include Locust Grove Estate, the Hudson Highlands Museum, DIA Beacon, Bowdoin Park, the Pete and Toshi Seeger River Front Park, and a local CSA farm.

    Great Work Montessori's Summer Program will fit your schedule. Sign up for one or two weeks or all five weeks. Program availability is limited—secure availability for your child/children by registering today.

Pick your Weeks, Pick your Themes! Monday- Friday 9 AM- 3 PM

Two Groupings: Ages 5-7, $325 per Week. For ages 8-11, it is $325 per week.

July 8-12- Creative Hands-Foster your unique creative process with sketching, drawing, and cartooning as you experience diverse art practices. Take field trips to museums and galleries and enjoy fun outdoor activities!

July 15-19- Culinary Arts- Experience thematic kitchen fun with special guests and spend lots of time cooking various recipes from scratch. All skill levels are accepted!

July 22-26- Natural Wonders- Embark on a journey to discover our natural surroundings and ecosystem by exploring local state parks and museums. We will learn about the plants and animals that live in our area, their habitats, what impact we have on them, and the effect they have on us.

July 29- August 2- Parks and Recreation- Engagement in sports, fitness, and outdoor adventure. Activities include arts and crafts, field games, sports clinics, and more!

August 5-August 9- Hudson Valley Farms-Explore the farms of the Hudson Valley! Plant, discover, and learn about different farms and meet the animals!
